Loyalty, compassion, honor to the annointed, worship in songs, thankful, a hero....these are the things I think he gains from knowing who his God is.
ReplyDeleteSome of the darkest times during David's life came during those 'cave' years - after he had been anointed as the next king, but while he was waiting for it to happen. Through it all, he trusted God's faithfulness.
