CONSIDER: Leviticus 22:32 - It is God who makes us holy.
ACT: During your prayer time today, thank God that holiness is not dependent on our human effort. While we strive for holiness, even on our best days we stumble and fall. Yet, because of what Christ has done, God has sanctified us and set us apart as holy.
This is for sure that holiness is not dependent on our human efforts and thank God for it. After all this reading about what to eat, when, and how I decided to try fasting today to see what it was like for the people to experience. I made it through til lunch time. I am so spoiled and hopefully on this journey I will learn to surrender everything. So, I learned humility today in my readings.
ReplyDeletei'm loving the 'big picture' of God's holiness by reading so much in a day. it is very humbling as we see such a big picture of who God is and how Holy He is!
